Frank Finale has more than three hundred fifty poems and essays published in more than one hundred different books, journals, and magazines.
In 1983, he helped found the literary magazine, Without Halos as well as its publishing organization, the Ocean County Poets Collective, He Served as editor-in-chief from 1985 through 1995.
Since 1996, he served as poetry editor of the new renaissance, an award-winning international magazine emphasizing literature and the arts.
His critically acclaimed coffee table books of essays and poems about the Jersey Shore, "To the Shore Once More" (1999), To The Shore Once More, Volume II," (2001), were regional bestsellers.
Mr. Finale has taught elementary school for thirty-eight years and retired from East Dover Elementary School in the Toms River Regional School District (New Jersey) in June, 2002. He was named to the state of New Jersey's 2002 Governor's Teacher Recognition Program. He has done numerous Young Authors' Conferences for many different schools in New Jersey and was named in Who's Who Among America's Teachers: The Best Teachers In America Selected By The Best Students (5th Edition, 1998 and 8th Edition, 2004).
He received a Master of Arts Degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1976.
Mr. Finale is a Pisces who has lived by the sea most of his life and currently resides with his wife, Barbara, two cats, and almost too many books in Bayville, New Jersey.
